Okay so I finally got hold of some internet in my life. I'm at the Heathrow Airport in London, on my way back to Korea. This was an awesome trip. I got quite a lot of stuff (football stuff..oops I mean soccer). I got a new pair of cleats, couple of shorts, sweatpants, sweatshirt, umbro bag, backpack, etc. Well I'm kinda excited to go back to school. I can't wait to meet my dorm family, friends, and teacher. I'll keep this short. Well couple more days 'til I see everyone, can't wait.

So it's half way through summer and nothing too exciting has taken place, besides the World Cup, My Birthday, playing SOCCER, and seeing Jesse and AK.

I guess I'm saving the best for the last because next week I'm finally leaving Korea to go to Finland and England. Hopefully this will be fun, even though this is something my family does once every year (going to Finland and another country in Europe). I've already been to England a couple of times but barely remember it because I was really young then, so I'm actually looking forward to this. I've already planned out what I want to do when we get there lol...

But that's still like in two weeks so...things that are going to happen sooner hmmm..let me see, oh ya I have to take the TOEFL this friday (JOY??!!!)..ahhhh, actually I don't want to think about the things I need to do for the next two weeks.

So changing subject, I'm SeVenTeeN ...I still feel like I'm 16 or maybe not even . Thinking of being a SENIOR is so weird...

Karin = SENIOR   (most people will laugh at that...)

But folks, DO NOT FEAR, I'm going to be the MOST MATURE SENIOR in the school!!!!  Well, maybe not the MOST, (speaking of the truth)...PROBABLY NOT AT ALL  ...but it doesn't matter I'll still be a SENIOR

I hope everyone is having a great summer!!!

Okay...It's been SO long since I have updated my xanga. It's been so busy the last couple of months. Let's see...first (like back in May), we went to Soccer Far East in Okinawa, Japan. This was SOOOOO MUCHHHH fun. Second, there's SATs, final exams, and all that junk. Third, it was time to say goodbyes. Fourth, there's the World Cup. There's just so much. It's was really hard to say bye to people, whether it was just to friends who I would see next year, to seniors that graduated especially my dorm bros, staff members that are leaving and are not coming back next year.

It's been a hard and exhausting month. I will really miss you; I mean I already do, Springer dorm seniors (or should I now say alumi). To me though, you guys will always stay as my senior dorm brothers!!

Despite all these sadness in the atmosphere, there is also a happy and exciting moment because of the world cup. World Cup has been so awesome!!! ENGLAND made it to TOP 16 already!! As well as  GERMANY, ECUADOR, ARGENTINA, NETHERLANDS, and PORTUGAL!!! This world cup has also been full of unexpected twists. For example, Ghana!! They beat Czech, the #2 ranked team in the world. Then there's also that amazing game Argentina played and just totally killed Serbia.

Well, school's finally out now and I'm just sitting around at home while I've got the chance to. This summer is going to be so crazy. I'm going to go play soccer for the whole summer with a college girls team, here in Daegu. Then, I'm going to go horsebacking riding like everyday. Then, I'm teaching little elementary kids this summer. Then I'm going to learn guitar and drums. Possibly continue with taekwondo, lifeguarding, or try to learn boxing (I don't know yet, this isn't something for sure). But anyways my days are gonna be jam packed. I'm also gonna watch as many world cup games possible. So far I've watched all the 10:00pm and 1:00pm games, after school got out. Well anyways, I don't feel like typing anymore but I still have a lot to say. Well wateva...I'll try to update faster next time than what it took to update this time...

So this weekend has been awesome. The only people that stayed in our dorm was the Springer dorm OCKs and me and few others. We had a good time and a lot of laughing went on. We chillaxed and "bonded" as a dorm. But the best night out of the whole weekend was last night. The girls' had a "sleepover". It was in Elizabeth and my room. There was Mrs. Springer, Emily, Ernie, Jessica, Elizabeth and me. It was so much fun. Mrs. Angela, Liz, Emily, and I, we didn't go to bed until 5 am. We talked all night long about everything (typical girl talk). It was a lot of fun.

Anyways switching the subject, our girls' soccer team is ranked 3rd in Division I KAIAC. This is so awesome 'cause I think never in TCIS history have we done this well. Tomorrow is our last KAIAC game and it's against SAHS. It's gonna be tough but we got it all under control. Then this weekend we have our KAIAC Tournament at SFS so wish us luck. I believe we will be playing SIS first round.

Okay, so this was a long weekend. we got half of thursday off, friday, saturday, and sunday off as well. This was pretty awesome. I got a new haircut, it's quite a change. I dunno if its better or for worse but watever. What's done is done!!! Can't change it..

Today my family went on this Samsung family trip thing. Everybody from Samsung were foreigners on this trip. there were maybe about 5 or 6 families. We went to Ahn Dong. There we went strawberry picking, visited the korean folk village, went to a traditional mask museum, watched a traditional mask dance, and planted plants. It was a long day, my favorite part of the day however, was eating strawberries and having lunch. After all this, my family went out to Outback for dinner, this was awesome.

Oh ya, the Girl's Soccer Team needs to raise money to go to Okinawa, Japan for the KAIAC Far East Tournament.  So the 5 or 6 Samsung foreign families were generous to give me 85,000won total from today's trip. This is a good start. My dad said he will ask more Samsung people for donations or maybe "sponsor" if were lucky. (I doubt it but that would be so awesome). My mom said she will ask her work as well so hopefully this will bring a "happy ending" to raising money, but then again who knows. If all this doesn't reach the amount I need to raise then the rest is up to me, I would have to find other ways to raise money. And I WILL!!!! Just wait Okinawa, HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!

Goal! is such an awesome movie. I've seen it so many times now... I can watch it everyday of my life. I heard Goal! 2 is coming out sometime so I can't wait. Santiago Munez supposively moves to Real Madrid in the second one, which is even better.
